Start Again.

It all began when all my third kid got on the school bus. What was I to do? Trained teacher. Photographer. Non-denominational minister. Homeschooling mom (pre-pandemic!). The list was long.

When my children were babies, I heard a mom to tweens advise her kids to find a problem in the world they wanted to help solve, then go and do that thing. That’s the advice that propelled me into fashion.

Living life more gently on the earth has always been a focus of my life. I’ve watched as fashion brands churn out the newest trends week after week. I decided after a short while to learn the business of fashion. I studied. I sewed. I learned to sketch and learned an entirely new world with just one goal: make one person think about their fashion choices. Just one.

And hopefully, maybe, that inspired new choice will influence one of their friends. Then there will be three people choosing a sustainable fashion option.

All because I chose to start again.
